A premium traditional Cornish steak pasty, with PGI status. Made with diced British Farm Assured beef, diced potatoes, swede and onion, seasoned with pepper in a shortcrust pastry.

Why is our Traditional Cornish so special:
Winner of the World Pasty Championships 2020 for the Cornish Pasty Company Award.
We use a higher meat content to most ‘standard pasties’ ensuring this is diced British Farm Assured beef, diced potatoes, swede and onion, seasoned with our own seasoning blend in a shortcrust pastry – all of the ingredients meeting the recipe of a Traditional Cornish Pasty. This is a hand-crimped pasty, made in Cornwall to meet PGI status and a true CORNISH PASTY!

A PGI Cornish Pasty must be made with only these ingredients, being side crimped and a traditional D Shape. To be a Cornish pasty it must be made in Cornwall.

Cooking Instructions

Cooking / Reheating Information

Your Phat Pasties and Pies are designed to best be enjoyed hot!

For best results, reheat from frozen in an oven.

Pre-heat your oven to 180C / Fan 160C / Gas Mark 6

Pasties:

Remove all packaging. Place on a baking tray lined with baking parchment
 Place in centre of oven and cook for approx. 45 -50 mins


Pies:

Keep in the foil tray. Place on a baking tray in the centre of oven and cook for approx. 45 - 50 mins Take care when removing from foil. Our tip is to snip the edge of the foil with a pair of scissors and tear off, but take care as the foil will be sharp.

Extra Info:

Products will be hot, so please take care when removing from oven We’ve tested these timings with our own ovens, so yours may vary. Ensure product is piping hot. Do not reheat more than once.

Storage Instructions

Your Phat Pasties and Pies are sent to you as frozen items via couriers.

We send to you in an specially insulated box with ice packs.

Immediately upon arrival items should be placed in your freezer.

Items placed in a freezer at a temperature of -18C degrees have a maximum 6 month shelf life.

Items should not be defrosted and re-frozen.
